But strip away all the fame and money, and she’s just a girl… a girl who waited a long time for her love story to begin.
That was, of course, until she met Travis Kelce. Since 2023, the two have been America’s sweethearts, making headlines whether they’re hitting a New York restaurant or watching the US Open. Three years into the relationship, the power couple are going strong, having made it official in July in a star-studded wedding ceremony.
While Swift’s dating history is well-documented (read: obsessed over), something about this one hits different. From the outside, it looks healthy and actually romantic, and the couple’s Myers-Briggs personality types offer a clue as to why.

If you think Swift and Kelce have strikingly similar personality types, you might just be right. Kelce reads as an ESFP and, if that’s correct, he matches Swift on three traits out of four. Here’s his breakdown:

The two clearly feed off a crowd, and neither one flinches at being the main event. Why else would they choose to wed at Madison Square Garden with Stevie Nicks performing and a star-studded guest list of reportedly 1,000 people? Together, these two Sensors just work. Fame exerts a lot of pressure on a couple, but these two are able to stay grounded no matter how much scrutiny they’re under. And, let’s face it, they are under a lot of scrutiny. They can both handle the pressure, and that’s one of the reasons their connection has remained so strong.
Feeling the Romance
But what about the feels? Swift and Kelce’s love story may one day be made into a Hollywood movie, because it already looks like one. Legend goes that Kelce turned up at the Kansas City leg of the Eras Tour, complete with friendship bracelets and an offer of a date… only to not get to meet Swift.
Just two months later, Swift attended her first Chiefs game alongside Kelce’s mom, Donna. While we can’t know what happened in between, things were definitely moving fast.
